Admiring an optimal user experience in Bergen, Norway.
Hi, I’m Allison.
I’m a passionate problem-solver dedicated to crafting refined, captivating solutions that tackle complex business challenges. From New York to DC to California (and back again), I’m currently designing innovative and intuitive digital products at Capital One that prioritize the needs and success of our small business customers.
Although I had a grand childhood ambition of becoming a renowned humpback whale scientist, I couldn’t deny that I loved to draw. I found myself integrating art into each college internship, from sketches of each pest that plagued the campus greenhouse to an illustrated map of bird nesting spots in the surrounding nature preserve. It wasn’t until my first job post-college, where I redesigned Nantucket’s natural science museum with my own drawings and descriptions of each specimen, that I realized the power art and science can hold when they coalesce. Enter: a career shift to design.
A journey that’s included a corporate law firm, a national park, and several nonprofits has brought me to Capital One, where I strive to infuse life, personality, and trust into our digital customer experiences.
